What is your voltage?

120 Volts

2 wires, usually white (neutral) and black (line or “hot”). The actual voltage can be from 100 volts to 130 volts. Sometimes referred to as 110 volts.

120/240 Volts.

3 wires, usually white (neutral) and 2 blacks or a black and a red (lines or “hots”). 120 volts from neutral to either line, 240 volts from line to line. The actual line-to-line voltage can be from 200 volts to 260 volts. Sometimes referred to as 110/220 volts.
