Wire Gauge: For use on wire that is 1/0 size or smaller. It is best to measure your wire diameter in millimeters, rather than use the AWG gauge. This is because the insulation thickness varies materially from one wire manufacturer to the next. It is much better to oversize your CT than to undersize it.

These CTs are economical and secure they are slightly larger than our 13mm Solid Core Current Transformers, for slightly larger wire.

They have been designed to work with all of our Omnimeter models of kWh meters. They have a 26.6mA output at their rated current and are 0.1% accurate.

• Use 1 CT for 120 volt single phase North American, or 230 volt 2-wire foreign systems
• Use 2 CTs for 120/240 volt single phase systems
• Use 2 CTs for 3-phase 3-wire systems (no neutral)
• Use 3 CTs for 3-phase 4-wire systems

These CTs come with wire leads that are 2 meters in length.

They have received UL Approval for use with our UL listed meters to be a complete UL Listed installation.

Each CT has a unique serial number, is individually tested, and indicates the correct orientation of the CT in relation to the load of the electrical system being metered.
